Frequently Asked Questions:

~ What is Cabinet Refacing?

Cabinet refacing is a less expesive alteranative to cabinet replacement. If you are happy with your current kitchen layout, and your existing cabinets are of sound structure, you might want to consider refacing them. You will obtain the updated look you desire, with less of the expense.

When refacing cabinets, we remove the old doors, drawer fronts and moldings. We cover your existing exterior framework (including sides & bottoms) with a premium wood venier or laminate, whichever you have chosen for your new kitchen design. Then we hang new doors and drawer fronts, install new hardware and hang new matching crown and shoe moldings. We can use your existing drawer boxes, or install new vinyl covered or solid maple drawer boxes with either standard or soft closing drawer glides. We can preserve your existing countertop, or install a new top of your choice.

~ I would like more cabinet space or I need to accomodate a new appliance. Can you build additional cabinets?

Yes we can! We can custom build matching cabinets to be added to your existing ones, and once refaced, they will look like they have always been there! We can also build in appliances, such as dishwashers, microwaves, built in ovens and warming drawers.
